Decorating Shortcuts and Designer Style, Sydney Jones

This Magazine was on how to decorate your rooms in your house. I love these kinds of magazines because I like to decorate different rooms in my house. My favorite article out of the magazine was the one about how to decorate with geometric goods. It shows you how something you think is tacky turns out to be really cool. One thing I didn't like about this magazine was the fact that there was nothing about bathrooms. That's kind of wierd, but I like to decorate my bathroom in the different seasons! This magazine is really a great way to get a fashionable house really cheap and really easy!

Jasmine Star Photography Blog , Sydney Jones

This Blog was for photographers who needed a little bit of guidance through photography. She is married and takes pictures at weddings, and does regular photoshoots with different people. Jasmine is very much like me; which makes me love her even more! One thing I loved about it, is the tip she gave me on lighting. I use this tip all of the time! One thing I didn't really like however was that it took me a while to actually find her blog page on different subjects. This is a great blog for Photographers, hope you look into it!

Just One Day, Sydney Jones

The Book I read for my choice was called "Just One Day". The book was about two people who ended up falling in love in one day. They met on a train; and she ended up alone in the streets of Paris after being left on a one night ( day) stand. I didn't like how at the very end of the book it left me hanging, but I read the second and it was very worth it. The book was to where I could never put down. I would encourage people who like Romantic books to read tis. You will NOT regret it. However, if you do not like books like this, this would not be a good read for you.

Instructions

1. Read your books (see the handout I gave you in class for specifics)

2. Create your first blog post by clicking "new post" in the upper right corner.

3. When the post box appears, put in a title (I would suggest the title of what you read and your name)

4. Your blog post will be typed in the larger box.

5. On the right side of the page, you'll see a box that says "labels". Click on it and type in the genre of what you read (fiction, blog, magazine, etc.). THIS IS IMPORTANT. It allows me (and you) to quickly find specific posts.

6. When you have finished your post (this includes proofreading), click "publish".

Email me at heatherroper@pickens.k12.sc.us if you have any questions!
