A Truly touching story about a young boy, mentally and physically abused by his mother. She did unspeakable acts to poor David. Acts such as starving him. Poor David was abandoned, while his other sibling was treated like an angel. I would recommend this book to everyone. Just like every book in the world, there is something to be learned by reading this book, and I encourage people to look for themselves. I enjoyed it because I learned how important it is to treat people right. On the other hand, I didn't like the book because no one should have to feel what David did.

A Child Called "It"
The book that I read for my Literary Nonfiction/Biography was "A Child Called "It" by David Pelzer . This book was about a boy named, David, and how much and brutal his Mother abused him as a child and how he survived. David had an abusive Mother while growing up and she treated him like he didn't exist while he did everything for him and when he made one mistake he got beat. This book is not for the people who cry easily but I recommend this book strongly. This book also made me think on how precious life is and how much life is taken forth while other people have it hard like, David.
