"Life is Short but Sweet for Certain"

      I read a blog titled “Life is short, but sweet for certain.” written by a lady named Lindsay who emphasizes southern class and is a newlywed that is happily married to the man of her dreams.  In the blog that I read she was reminiscing with reference to the series of events that happened to her and her family that particular week.  Lindsay’s papa was struggling with his health and passed away. She held his hand hoping he could stay there with her forever. However, Lindsay chose to focus on the things she could be thankful for during that time and that says a lot about who she is as a person. The same week Lindsay sat at the footstep of her papa’s death, she quit her job. To many people that sounds like a stressful week where a cup of coffee is much needed but instead, Lindsay chose to write about how thankful she was for the people who stood by her side in that moment. The positivity Lindsay carried during this rough week shined through her writing and it was relieving to see someone positive no matter what the circumstances were.
