American Sniper. Cole Powell
The autobiography of Navy Seal Chris Kyle is a heroic book. In this book it talks about the different missions he went threw as a navy seal, but it's not just about his life over seas but how it was back in the United States as in how he met his wife, and how he wasn't there to see the first few years of their lives that he missed out on cause he was serving his country. Chris Kyle was also a man of country. He would help wounded worrirs, and spend time with them, and he also became friends with these men. Sadly, on February 2,2013 Chris and his friend, and fellow Navy Seal, Chad Littlefield were murderd by Eddie Ray Roth who has PTSD from what he experienced in the war. If you enjoy books about war, and if you haven't seen the movie yet I highly recommend this book before you watch the movie.

Very intriguing, looking forward to trying the book out even though I've already seem the movie!
ReplyDeleteAwesome movie and book! Although it's sad parts, you get to see a true soldier and hero!
ReplyDeleteI've only read the book.. While it has its sad parts, his enjoyment of killing disturbs me. He says multiple in the book that he liked killing Iraqi's for his country. He is a true hero and deserves to be remembered for his honorable service to his country with over 160 confirmed kill and over 250 estimated kills. He will not be forgotten. R.I.P. Chris Kyle
