life and death of Mary Wollstonecraft by the european graduate institute
Mary Wollstonecraft born 1759 and died 1797. Was considered to be the founder of the European and american movements for wemons rights. Mary Wollstonecraft was none to be self educated and practiced law as well as literature. For most of her life but she made a living as a governess but soon relocated to a writing career as she continued to develop her ideas on education for wemon and for wemon to be able to speak among men about more serious matters. She later wrote and published a book in 1792:" make wemon rational creatures and free citizens and they will quickly become good wife's. She died son after her daughter Mary Wollstonecraft Godwin Shelley was born who was the auther of the famous novel Frankenstein. I don't recommend this book for fast past readers but this read is rather intriguing only because it raises more questions than answers about the development of wemons rights.
