Sweeping for Support
The blog I read is called Sweeping for Support by Katie Davis. It was published May 26, 2014. Katie Davis is a girl in her twenties that felt God was calling her into ministry. So she decided to move to Africa and adopt kids and raise them there. This blog is about some of her kids that were born with HIV and AIDS and the daily struggles they go through. She focuses on "living positively." She says in the blog, "Living positively is acknowledging that while you may have HIV or AIDS you still have the right to live a full and protective life." I really find interest in this blog because I feel the same calling into ministry. I have a huge heart for kids and traveling so her blogs really inspire me. I recommend her blogs for those who also love children and missionary. She also has a book called "Kisses from Katie" about her journey that I also highly recommend.
