Alabama legalizes same-sex marriage

Alabama has become the 37th state in the United States to legalize same-sex marriage. For my newspaper article on a current event, I decided to read this article about Alabama passing this law. I think that this is a very good thing that the state of Alabama has done. Even if you may not agree with same-sex marriage I think you should be able to support people for loving who they love. To the people fighting for same-see marriage, it is equivalent to how the African American people fought for their rights. Imagine if you lived in a world where same-sex marriage was all there was and you had to fight for your rights to marry of the opposite sex. It would be hard. That's how people who are fighting for this right feel. That is why I think that this is a great thing. I hope soon that the entire United States can pass this law and let people live and love freely.
