Will the USA side with IRAN against Israel

I read an article stating that as of march 15 that the US is in conference about weather or my to side with Iran against Israel! Every other country has sided with Iran except the good ole USA. We should not just jump on the band wagon we should stand up and defend what is right and defend those who are weak and weary. We should be the big brother country and stand up for what is right. In a religious stand point (please don't let this offend any one it is not meant to be offensive) we should stand up for the holy land and God's chosen people the children of Israel. Since when have we the United States of America chosen to go with the crowd even if it means going against all that is morally right. I mean think about it innocent men women and children will be sacrificed and killed just because we decided to go with the flow. Everybody else is doing it why can't we. I will tell you why it is because it is morrally unright and injustice to murder innocent men women and children.
