Body found in well is that of a missing woman (2/22/15)

The body of an Anderson woman who was last seen alive in September was found at the bottom of a well, authorities said. The well was on a property in the 200 block of Boseman Road. Anderson County investigators discovered the remains of Patricia Ann Freeman, 57, on Boseman Road near U.S. 76, said Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Sheila Cole. Investigators were following up on a missing person case at the time. She said Freeman's brother first reported her missing Feb. 6th and told deputies he had not seen his sister since September. A technical rescue team and the Rock Springs Fire Department assisted in recovering the body. The case remained under investigation, pending the results of an autopsy scheduled for Feb. 22nd, according to Coroner Greg Shore. Shore said it appears the body had been in the well since September. I am pretty shaken up about the woman's death. I wonder and pray for her family and friends that had to go through such a horrible experience.
