When The Game Stands Tall. Neil Hayes. Cole Powell

This is a book about the most winningest streak in the history of sports. It takes place in 2002 at De La Salle High school with the De La Salle Spartans, led by one of the best coaches in high school football history, Bob Ladouceur. He won 151 games in a row that started in 1993 and ended in 2004. This book shows the ups and downs and the endless practice it took to keep this streak alive. This coaching staff and team was well equipt with the plays, players, and the streak that they had following them. This book is exciting, but the movie was stretched out and very over-exaggerated. This is a must read book for a fan of the sport cause you can't relate to a team that has won as many games as this team, but you can relate to the ups and downs to everyone in it

  1. I saw the move but haven't read the book I'll have to read it. This team was one if not the best football team.

  2. I've heard of that movie. I didn't know there was a book too. That looks really good. I'll have to find it.
