Rarely have two college athletes, black or white, in the 1960s gained such attention among the fans as O. J. Simpson of USC and Leroy Keyes of Purdue. Both have risen to national fame in 1967, it was the 1968 season that made the names of the these two players almost the synonymous with college football. The competition and the respect between these two players in their race for the Heisman trophy is captured in this amazing book.
