Heat Wave

I read a book titled "Heat Wave" by Richard Castle. "Heat Wave" is about a NYPD homocide detective named Niki Heat. She is hit with a challenge when her commissioner assigned superstar magazine journalist Jameson Rook to ride along with her homicides. This homicide is about a famous rich guy named Matthew Star gets murdered by being thrown off a balcony three stories high of the Guilford. Niki, Rook, and her other NYPDs, Ocha and Raley try to find out who murdered Matthew Star. While trying to solve this investigation, Matthew Star's paint collection is stolen. A girl named Barbara Deerfield is murded by a Russian guy named Pochenko. Barbara Deerfield was going to appraise the paintings. Then Ocha called Niki and said that he found pochenko's dead body. The art work ended up being fake because someone sold the real collection. Noah Paxton ended up hiring pochenko to throw Matthew Star off the balcony and murdering Barbara Deerfield and then Noah Paxton killed Pochenko. I chose this book because i love watching the t.v. show called "Castle" on abc. The book relates to the t.v. show. If you love books about murder investigations, this book would be a good read for you.
